Although the town of Cheb started using the electronic purchase only this July, it began achieving very good results thanks to the very quick and complex implementation of this tool. The electronic methods are used not only for purchase but also for selling and renting the town property. All transactions are entirely transparent and accessible to everybody, which is how the town gains money for its further development while strengthening and deepening the trust of its inhabitants.

Thanks to their active attitude, the costs saved using the auctions exceeded the initial investment for purchasing the system by far.The management of the company considers this purchase method as very contributory and effective because this method is only little used in the construction business. IMOS Brno,a.s. is thus a very good example for other construction companies.

It is one of the first hospitals where they started the electronic purchase in the maximal extent using two systems in October 2005. That enables the purchase of material of everyday use, services but also high-tech devices. The hospital is currently preparing a construction contract. Their results broke the taboo associated with the purchase of healthcare technology, which brings not only the economic results for their hospital, but it is also a good example for the whole healthcare system.

After making sure that this was the right way to lower their costs, the company focused on other advantages of using the electronic systems (databases, the quality of suppliers and items supplied). Using the system, they are able to negotiate a very favourable price for quality products from a reliable supplier. As a manufacturer the company actively takes part in other electronic tenders as a supplier.
